In Malay, "Algoritma" translates directly to "Algorithm"—the fundamental sequence of instructions that transforms raw data into intelligent action. We intentionally chose this name because it represents the absolute core of our technological philosophy. Founded as Penteract Technology
Our journey began in 2021 as Penteract Technology. Operating as a tech-forward disruptive consultancy, we recognized a massive, unaddressed gap in the local market. While global enterprises were rapidly integrating machine learning and predictive analytics to scale exponentially, local Malaysian Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) were constrained by legacy software, fragmented data silos, and a lack of accessible technological expertise. We spent these formative years building foundational software infrastructure, solving complex workflow problems, and assessing the true digital readiness of local businesses.
The Evolution to Algoritma
Recognizing that traditional software automation was no longer enough in the age of Generative AI, we aggressively pivoted and rebranded into Algoritma. Our mandate became razor-sharp: to be the premier native AI solutions provider in Malaysia. We transitioned from general IT consultancy to deep-domain AI integration—building Autonomous Agents, semantic Search CRMs, and predictive data dashboards.
